MINDFUL RESTORATIVE YOGA FOUNDATION TTC
– 50 Hours
In a world where our senses are bombarded from morning til evening, it is more important than ever to practice techniques that down regulate an overly active body and mind. Yogic practices like Asanas, Pranayama, Pratyahara and Dharana play an important role in today’s methods for calming our body mind connection – public health has also started to implement techniques from the ancient wisdom traditions. Stress is not first and most a negative response to high activity levels or traumatic experiences. But stress can be devastating to your health when it results in chronic mental and physical patterns that are not dealt with. Through the techniques that we will practice in this training we will learn to “move back” into our bodies for increased presence and well-being in everyday life.
“Between stimulus and respons there is a space.
In that space is the power to choose our respons.
In our respons lies our growth and our freedom”
– Viktor E. Frankl
